About Ana

Ana Lucia is a PhD student in logic at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam funded by CONACyT   under the supervision of  Dr. Alexandru Baltag, Prof. Dick de Jongh and Dr. Aybüke Özgün.

Her current research lies at the interface between formal learning theory with special focus on finite identification and epistemic learning theory with a topological approach. She also has worked on studying some fragments of propositional logic. Other academic interests include modal logics, formal epistemology, foundations of mathematics, set theory, belief revision and logical modeling in cognitive science.

In previous years Ana Lucia obtained her MSc in Logic at the ILLC and her Bachelor diploma in Mathematics and Physics at Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo in Morelia, Mexico.

Besides science her other passion is writing poetry and short stories.
